Olive’s Day
Meet Olive - a wonderful, funny, and thoughtful girl who sees the world a little differently. She has PDA - Pathalogical Demand Avoidance - which means everyday things can sometimes feel like giant demands. In this beautifully illustrated and insightful story, Olive takes us through a day in her life, sharing the clever strategies she, her family, and her teachers use to help her feel understood, included, and empowered.
Beneath Olive’s fun adventures lies a practical and supportive guide. Teachers will find PDA-friendly strategies to create flexible and inclusive classrooms. Parents discover relatable and practical ways to understand their child’s PDA-related behaviours and to support them at home. Children with PDA will see themselves reflected in Olive’s journey and learn from her clever strategies, helping them feel understood and empowered.

Willow’s Day
Willow's day started like any other-but soon spiralled into what she calls a "super sorry day."
One misunderstanding led to another, and before long, feelings were hurt and everything felt a little tangled. Willow was left feeling gloomy and stuck. With the gentle guidance of her mum, the kindness of her teacher Mr Beech, and the steady wisdom of Granny, an engineer who builds bridges, Willow begins to find her way through. Together, they help her talk about her feelings, listen with care, and take brave steps to mend what was broken. Along the way, Willow learns that saying sorry with with honesty, and accepting apologies with compassion, can build even stronger bridges than before.
This engaging and accessible book is a valuable resource for educators, parents, and children, introducing the foundational practices of restorative justice in a simple, child-friendly way. About the Authors
Caryn Price and Georgina Benger are mothers and passionate advocates for education, each bringing years of experience, specialist knowledge, and a range of qualifications to their work. Notably, Caryn holds two master’s degrees, specialising in psychology and responsible inclusion in education, while Georgina earned her Master of Education from Cambridge, focusing on restorative justice in childhood relationships.
They absolutely love what they do—working alongside children, families, and colleagues—and bring a deep sense of care and commitment to every project. Unapologetically geeky, they delight in reading research, exploring new ideas, and developing creative, evidence-based approaches to support learning and wellbeing. Firm believers in the power of play, fun, and curiosity, they combine lived experience with academic expertise to promote more inclusive, emotionally literate, and compassionate approaches to holistic education.
